Child Death Review Committee
Individual reports offer an in-depth case review of the individual deaths of those under 19 who died under unexpected or non-medical circumstances while in the care and custody of the province.
The Child Death Review Committee submits reports and recommendations to the Minister of Justice and the recommendations are then made public. Before they are shared, all personal or identifying information is removed to protect the privacy of those involved.

The Child Death Review Committee submits an annual report that examines trends in deaths of all young persons in the province under the age of 25. Annual reports include a description of trends and a summary of recommendations for system improvements. Names and other identifying information are not included in the reports.
