ART GALLERY--MAT HOOKING

Beyond Tradition: Mat Hooking as an Artist's Medium will be
featured at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia Jan. 17, 12:15 p.m.
In celebration of The Year of the Hook Mat, artist Nancy
Edell will talk about her experience with mat hooking. Edell
uses the traditional techniques of mat hooking, along with more
conventional drawing and painting materials. Bring your lunch.
Coffee will be provided and there is no admission fee.
