  A ceremony marking the sixth anniversary of the killing of
  14 young women in Montreal will be held in the foyer of
  Province House on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 9 a.m.
  Justice Minister Bill Gillis will lead the commemoration. It
  will be followed by a flag-lowering on the south lawn of
  Province House.
  The women were murdered at the Ecole Polytechnique in 1991.
  Since then the date has been observed nationally as the
  National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against
  NOTE TO EDITORS: Ecole should be spelled with an accent aigu
  on the first E.
