NOVA SCOTIA MUSEUM--UPCOMING EVENTS

SOU'WESTER WORKSHOP
A two part workshop on making a traditional sou'wester will be
held at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax on
Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Mar. 26
from 7 to 9 p.m. They are intended for those aged nine years and
up, but 9-14 year olds must be accompanied by an adult. The
registration fee is $15.00.

STRONG VOICE AND SOUND GUITAR
Local musician Dan McKinnon will perform traditional and original
songs at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax on
Sunday, Mar. 31 from 2 - 3:30 p.m.
Admission is free but donations to the food bank are accepted.

CANADIAN WILDERNESS RIVERS
Seeing our waterways from the perspective of an Atlantic salmon
is the subject of a talk at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic
in Halifax on Tuesday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. Underwater
photographer Gilbert van Rykevorsal will make the presentation
based on his work exploring streams, rivers and lakes in Atlantic
Canada.
Admission is free but donations to the food bank are accepted.
