TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS--TRAFFIC ADVISORIES

HALIFAX COUNTY, HIGHWAY 102

     Beginning on Wednesday, May 22, repaving and gravelling will
begin on northbound lanes from the interchange of Highway 102 and
Trunk 2 at Fall River, Halifax County, northerly to Exit 5 and
Exit 6. Outbound traffic from Highway 118 at Miller Lake will
also be affected. The work is expected to last until June 30.

HALIFAX COUNTY, HIGHWAY 118

Repaving and concrete median replacement work has begun on
Highway 118 and Woodland Ave., Dartmouth, southbound and
northbound lanes, from Ryland Ave. To Highway 107 off-ramps. Lane
closures will be in place in northbound and southbound lanes at
various times during the day between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Lane
closures will remain in place overnight where conditions warrant.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times during
construction. Work is expected to be completed by August 12.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY, HIGHWAY 105

Repaving has begun on Highway 105 from Little Bras d'Or to St.
James Road. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, escorted through
the work area by pilot vehicles. Delays should be expected. Work
is expected to be completed by June 7.

HANTS COUNTY--STIRLING BRIDGE, ROUTE 215

Motorists are advised that the Stirling Bridge, Route 215, Hants
County has now been posted for 20 tonnes maximum load until
further notice. Alternative route arrangements will have to made
for vehicles above this maximum posted weight.

Motorists are reminded to reduce their speed and exercise caution
while driving through construction sites.
