NOTE TO EDITORS--OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF MEDICAL TRANSPORT PROGRAM ----------------------------------------------------------------- The official launch of the province's air medical transport program will be held Thursday, June 13 at Shearwater Airport. A technical briefing begins at 11:30 a.m. in the departure lounge, hangar #4. At the briefing, specifics about the helicopter and background information on the air medical transport program will be presented. The briefing will be followed immediately by a press conference at hangar H. Following the press conference, there will be an opportunity to view and film the helicopter. Staff of Emergency Health Services Nova Scotia and members of the flight teams will be on hand for interviews. Press kits will be available at the site. The briefing and press conference are an excellent opportunity to view the helicopter and to find out more about the province's air medical transport program.
