HEALTH--DRUG DEPENDENCY SERVICES RELOCATING

Drug Dependency Services - CORE program, detox and administration
- for the Central Region are relocating to Simpson Hall, located
on the grounds of the Nova Scotia Hospital, Dartmouth.

All services at the new location begin at 8 a.m., July 15.
Services at Camp Hill, the current site, will wind down on June
28. 

During the transition period, outpatient services and services to
meet the needs of individuals in crisis will continue to be
offered. In addition, extra support services are being provided
at several sites. All satellite outpatient offices remain open in
Sheet Harbour, Musquodoboit Harbour, Sackville, Spryfield,
Windsor, Dartmouth and on Spring Garden Road, Halifax. As well,
residential clients can use other detox facilities.

The telephone number to access services during the transition is
the regular number, 902-424-5623. Clients should not hesitate to
call. The same number will also be used at Simpson Hall.

Simpson Hall is located on Pleasant Street in Dartmouth.
Outpatient services, which are currently located in downtown
Dartmouth, will be relocating to the Simpson Hall site later this
year.
