The Nova Scotia Liquor Commission (NSLC) is reminding the public
that identification cards produced by the NSLC will no longer be
accepted as a valid piece of identification. The last of the
issued NSLC cards expired March 31, 1997.

Director of Merchandising Services Yvonne Melanson, said the 
motor vehicle identification card will now be accepted in place
of the NSLC cards. The motor vehicle identification cards can be
obtained at any one of the 13 Registry of Motor Vehicle offices
across the province.
