HEALTH--UPDATE: SMOKE FROM QUEBEC FOREST FIRES
---------------------------------------------------------------
While air quality improved across Nova Scotia today, there is a
possibility it could worsen tonight.

The chief medical officer of health recommends that people with
respiratory problems such as asthma or chronic bronchitis should
continue to take the following precautions:

- consider limiting time spent outdoors until conditions improve;

- air exchange units that bring air in from the outside should be
  turned off if they are worsening indoor air quality;

- people with respiratory problems who have specific questions
  about their risk should contact their family physician.

Further updates will be provided as needed.
