InNOVAcorp--InNOVAcorp ATTAINS QUALITY MILESTONE

The world just got a little bit smaller for InNOVAcorp, the Nova
Scotia Crown corporation that helps high-tech companies bring their
products to market.
InNOVAcorp has become the first public agency in Atlantic Canada to
achieve ISO 9002 registration, a vital and prestigious designation
for competing in the global marketplace.
"At InNOVAcorp, we're trying to develop Nova Scotia business to be
great, so we have to great ourselves and lead by example," said
Ross McCurdy, chief executive officer of InNOVAcorp.
The corporation received its ISO registration in December 1996,
after more than two years of hard work evaluating, improving and
documenting its work procedures.
InNOVAcorp's aim is to enable Nova Scotia companies to compete in
export markets through improved technology-based products and
services.
The company will celebrate its recent quality achievement at a
breakfast event Wednesday, June 18, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., for
over 150 of its clients, partners and stakeholders. Members of the
media are invited.
Tours of InNOVAcorp's facilities at 101 Research Dr., at Woodside
Industrial Park in Dartmouth, will also take place, beginning at 9
a.m.
