Community Support Navigator Program: support for individuals and families impacted by the tragic events on 18 to 19 April 2020

If you were impacted by the tragic events on 18 to 19 April 2020, confidential help is available.

Nova Scotia experienced an unimaginable tragedy that impacted the lives of many individuals, families and communities throughout the province.

Through the Community Support Navigator Program, community support navigators are available to help you find the supports you need after the tragic events of 18 to 19 April 2020.

Type of supports available

Community support navigators work with you to understand your needs and connect you with the services and supports you need, including:

  • grief and trauma counselling
  • social workers
  • family resource centres and other supports for children, youth and families
  • financial support for survivors
  • settling an estate  

Cost

There is no cost for the service.
