Deaths in Custody Review Committee

Individual reports offer an in-depth case review of deaths of persons in custody in a correctional facility and deaths of inmates while in hospital.

The Deaths in Custody Review Committee submits reports and recommendations to the Minister of Justice and the recommendations are then made public. Before they are shared, all personal or identifying information is removed to protect the privacy of those involved.
