Example: - Pump copayment: $1250.00 - Supplies copayment: $400.00 (Annually) - Supplies co payment: $100.00 (Quarterly)
In this example, the family applying for a pump and supplies would be required to pay $1250.00 for the cost of the pump. The family would also pay $100.00 every 3 month period for supplies. If the family is enrolled for the full calendar year that would be a total of $400.00 for supplies. NSIPP then pays the remaining amount for the pump and supplies. Note for those with insurance coverage: Insurance coverage is used before NSIPP payment.
Your family copayment amount will be provided to you in writing following the submission of your application form to the Nova Scotia Insulin Pump Program Administration Site.
