In Nova Scotia Jan-Apr 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 2.9% over Jan-Apr 2018. The 15,298 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-Apr 2019 represent a sales value of $576.4 million, up 1.7% over Jan-Apr 2018.
In Canada Jan-Apr 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 4.2% over Jan-Apr 2018. The 607,880 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-Apr 2019 represent a sales value of $26.3 billion, down 1.0% over Jan-Apr 2018.

In Nova Scotia Jan-Apr 2019, North American manufactured new motor vehicles Unit Sales decreased 3.7% (76.0% share) over Jan-Apr 2018. North American manufactured new motor vehicles Sales Value increased 1.1% (78.4% share) over Jan-Apr 2018.
In Nova Scotia Jan-Apr 2019, for New Motor Vehicles manufactured overseas, Unit Sales decreased 0.5% (24.0% share) over Jan-Apr 2018. For New Motor Vehicles manufactured overseas, Sales Value increased 3.7% (21.6% share) over Jan-Apr 2018.

Average Prices
In Nova Scotia Jan-Apr 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 4.8% over Jan-Apr 2018 to $37,675. The passenger car average price increased 3.0% over Jan-Apr 2018 to $27,612. The truck/suv average price increased 2.1% over Jan-Apr 2018 to $41,737.
In Canada Jan-Apr 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 3.3% over Jan-Apr 2018 to $43,255.
