In June 2019, US Goods and Services trade deficit narrowed by $0.2 billion to $55.2 billion. The goods trade deficit narrowed by $0.8 billion to $75.1 billion. The services trade surplus narrowed by $0.6 billion to $20.0 billion.
Monthly exports decreased by $4.4 billon to $206.3 billion. Goods exports decreased by $3.9 billion to $137.1 billion, and services exports decreased by $492.0 million to $69.2 billion.
US imports were down $4.6 billion to $261.5 billion, reflecting a $4.7 billion increase to $212.3 billion in goods imports and a $91.0 million increase to $49.2 billion in services imports.
On a year-to-date basis, the US trade deficit widened by $23.2 billion to $316.3 billion. The goods trade deficit widened by $12.2 billion to $439.3 billion. The services trade surplus narrowed by $11.1 billion to $122.9 billion.
