In Nova Scotia Jan-Sep 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 4.7% over Jan-Sep 2018. The 40,877 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-Sep 2019 represent a sales value of $1,567.4 million, up 1.8% over Jan-Sep 2018.
In Canada Jan-Sep 2019, New Motor Vehicles Unit Sales decreased 4.1% over Jan-Sep 2018. The 1,537,848 new motor vehicles sold in Jan-Sep 2019 represent a sales value of $66.3 billion, down 0.3% over Jan-Sep 2018.

In Nova Scotia Jan-Sep 2019, North American manufactured new motor vehicles Unit Sales decreased 3.9% (74.4% share) over Jan-Sep 2018. North American manufactured new motor vehicles Sales Value increased 2.4% (77.0% share) over Jan-Sep 2018.
In Nova Scotia Jan-Sep 2019, for New Motor Vehicles manufactured overseas, Unit Sales decreased 6.9% (25.6% share) over Jan-Sep 2018. For New Motor Vehicles manufactured overseas, Sales Value decreased 0.2% (23.0% share) over Jan-Sep 2018.

In Nova Scotia Jan-Sep 2019, truck/SUV Unit Sales increased 3.0% (71.5% share) to 29,229 units over Jan-Sep 2018, and truck/SUV Sales Value increased 7.4% (79.1% share) to $1,241 million over Jan-Sep 2018.
Average Prices
In Nova Scotia Jan-Sep 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 6.8% over Jan-Sep 2018 to $38,345, the passenger car average price increased 5.6% over Jan-Sep 2018 to $28,058, the truck/suv average price increased 4.3% over Jan-Sep 2018 to $42,445.
In Canada Jan-Sep 2019, the new motor vehicles average price increased 3.9% over Jan-Sep 2018 to $43,099.
