NOVA SCOTIA
In Nova Scotia March 2020, the Consumer Price Index (index 2002=100) decreased 0.8 per cent from February 2020 to 138.0 and increased 0.9 per cent over March 2019. The CPI, excluding food and energy, increased 0.3 per cent from February 2020 and increased 2.2 per cent over March 2019.
CANADA
In Canada March 2020, the Consumer Price Index (index 2002=100) decreased 0.6 per cent from February 2020 to 136.6 and increased 0.9 per cent over March 2019. The CPI, excluding food and energy, increased 0.1 per cent from February 2020 and increased 1.7 per cent over March 2019.
HALIFAX
In Halifax March 2020, the Consumer Price Index (index 2002=100) decreased 0.7 per cent from February 2020 to 136.8 and increased 1.0 per cent over March 2019.
