EU AND EURO AREA TRADE BALANCE IN GOODS, SEPTEMBER 2020

 

EURO AREA (Sep 2020 vs Aug 2020, not seasonally adjusted)

The Euro Area (EA19) Goods Trade with the rest of the world recorded a surplus of €24.8 billion

  • The Euro Area (EA19) Export Trade increased €34.7 billion (22.3%) to €190.3 billion
  • The Euro Area (EA19) Import Trade increased €23.9 billion (16.8%) to €165.5 billion

 

 

EUROPEAN UNION (Sep 2020 vs Aug 2020, not seasonally adjusted)

 The European Union (EU27) Goods Trade with the rest of the world recorded a surplus of €24.5 billion 

  • The European Union (EU27) Export Trade increased €31.5 billion (22.6%) to €171.0 billion
  • The European Union (EU27) Import Trade increased €17.7 billion (13.8%) to €146.5 billion

 The European Union (EU27) Goods Trade with: 

  • the United Kingdom recorded a surplus of €11.6 billion
  •  Canada recorded a surplus of €1.4 billion
  •  the United States recorded a surplus of €13.4 billion
