Month over month (Nov-20 vs Oct-20)
The US net trade deficit widened by $5.0 billion to $68.1 billion. This is the second largest monthly US trade deficit (only August 2006 was larger)
- Goods trade deficit widened by $5.0 billions to $86.4 billion
- Services trade surplus narrowed slightly ($0.03 billion) to $18.2 billion
Total exports increased 1.2% ($2.2 billion) to $184.2 billion. In comparison, US exports in February 2020 were $209.7 billion.
- Exports of goods increased 1.0% ($1.3 billion) to $127.7 billion. Goods exports were $138.5 billion in February 2020.
- Exports of services increased 1.5% ($0.9 billion) to $56.4 billion. Services exports were $71.2 billion in February 2020.
Total imports increased 2.9% ($7.2 billion) to $252.3 billion. US imports were $246.7 billion in February 2020.
- Imports of goods increased 3.0% ($6.3 billion) to $214.1 billion. Goods imports were $198.2 billion in February 2020.
- Imports of services increased 2.4% ($0.9 billion) to $38.2 billion. Services imports were $48.4 billion in February 2020.
Year-to-date (Jan-Nov 2020 vs Jan-Nov 2019)
The US net trade deficit narrowed by $73.6 billions to $604.8 billion
- Goods deficit narrowed by $30.2 billions to $824.6 billion
- Services surplus narrowed by $43.4 billions to $219.7 billion
