The Euro Area's goods trade with the rest of the word recorded a surplus of €6.3 billion
- Euro Area exports decreased €27.9 billion (-14.6%) to €163.1 billion
- Euro Area imports decreased €4.7 billion (-2.9%) to €156.8 billion
EUROPEAN UNION (EU27 - Jan 2021 vs Dec 2020, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with the rest of the world recorded a surplus of €8.4 billion
- European Union exports decreased €27.0 billion (-15.4%) to €148.3 billion
- European Union imports decreased €5.2 billion (-3.6%) to €139.9 billion
TRADE PARTNERS (Jan 2021 vs Dec 2020, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with:
- the United Kingdom recorded a surplus of €11.6 billion
- Canada recorded a surplus of €0.4 billion
- the United States recorded a surplus of €13.6 billion
