June 15, 2021EU AND EURO AREA TRADE BALANCE IN GOODS, APRIL 2021 EURO AREA (EA19 - Apr 2021 vs Mar 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The Euro Area's goods trade with the rest of the word recorded a surplus of €10.9 billion. Euro Area exports decreased €25.4 billion (-11.6%) to €193.8 billion. Euro Area imports decreased €14.0 billion (-7.1%) to €182.8 billion.
EUROPEAN UNION (EU27 - Apr 2021 vs Mar 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with the rest of the world recorded a surplus of €13.0 billion. European Union exports decreased €16.3 billion (-8.3%) to €179.0 billion. European Union imports decreased €10.7 billion (-6.1%) to €166.0 billion.
TRADE PARTNERS (Apr 2021 vs Mar 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with:
- the United Kingdom recorded a surplus of €10.6 billion
- Canada recorded a surplus of €1.3 billion
- the United States recorded a surplus of €14.0 billion
