Month-over-month (Oct 2021 vs Sep 2021,seasonally adjusted turnover value)
In the European Union, retail sales were up 0.9%. In the Euro Area, retail sales were up 0.8%.
Year-to-date (Jan-Oct 2021 vs Jan-Oct 2020, seasonally adjusted turnover value)
In the European Union, retail sales were up 7.2%. In the Euro Area, retail sales were up 6.6%. Faster growth in retail sales was reported in Slovenia, Lithuania and Romania. Slower growth was reported in Germany, Slovakia and the Netherlands.
