JAPAN CURRENT ACCOUNT AND TRADE BALANCE, NOVEMBER 2021

  

Current Account (November 2021 vs October 2021)

The net current account surplus widened by 344 billion yen to 1,370 billion yen.

The net goods and services deficit narrowed by 334 billion yen to 279 billion yen.

The net primary income surplus widened by 35 billion yen to 1,855 billion yen.

The net secondary income deficit widened by 25 billion yen to 207 billion yen.

 

 

Trade Balance (November 2021 vs October 2021)

Net services deficit narrowed by 77 billion yen to 349 billion yen.

 

Net goods changed from a deficit (-187 billion yen) to a surplus (+70 billion yen)

  • Net goods exports increased 678 billion yen to 7,425 billion yen
  • Net goods imports increased 420 billion yen to 7,355 billion yen
