EURO AREA CURRENT ACCOUNT, NOVEMBER 2021

 

Month over month (Nov 2021 vs Oct 2021, seasonally adjusted)

The European Central Bank reported today that the Euro Area (EA19) net current account surplus widened by €4,257 million to €23.6 billion.

  • Net goods and services surplus widened by €4,599 million to €38.5 billion.
  • Net primary income surplus narrowed by €172 million to €72 million.
  • Net secondary income deficit widened by €170 million to €14.9 billion.

 

The Euro Area surplus in services trade widened by €5,396 million to €22.9 billion.

The Euro Area goods trade surplus narrowed by €797 million to €15.5 billion.

  • Goods exports increased €10,181 million to €225.5 billion.
  • Goods imports increased €10,978 million to €209.9 billion.
