Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 5.7%. The national average was also 5.7%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 5.4%.
Excluding food and energy (index 2002=100)
Nova Scotia consumer prices increased 3.0%. This is lower than the national average increase of 3.9%.

Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 1.1%. This is faster than the national average increase of 1.0%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 1.0%.

Nova Scotia consumer prices increased 0.4%. This is slower than the national average increase of 0.6%.
