The US net trade deficit narrowed by $0.0 billion to $89.2 billion. The net goods deficit narrowed by $1.1 billion to $107.5 billion, and the net services surplus narrowed by $1.1 billion to $18.3 billion.
Total exports increased 1.8% (+$4.1 billion) to $228.6 billion. Exports of goods increased 1.8% (+$2.8 billion) to $158.8 billion. Exports of services increased 2.0% (+$1.3 billion) to $69.9 billion.
Total imports increased 1.3% (+$4.1 billion) to $317.8 billion. Imports of goods increased 0.6% (+$1.7 billion) to $266.2 billion. Imports of services increased 5.0% (+$2.4 billion) to $51.6 billion.
Year over year (Feb 2022 vs. Feb 2021)
The US net trade deficit widened by $21.6 billion. The net goods deficit widened by $18.8 billion and the net services surplus narrowed by $2.8 billion.
Total exports increased 19.9% (+$38.0 billion). Exports of goods increased 21.6% (+$28.2 billion). Exports of services increased 16.2% (+$9.8 billion).
Total imports increased 23.1% (+$59.6 billion). Imports of goods increased 21.5% (+$47.0 billion). Imports of services increased 32.3% (+$12.6 billion).
