Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 9.3%. The national average was 8.1%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 9.1%.
Excluding food and energy (index 2002=100)
Nova Scotia consumer prices increased 4.7%. This was lower than the national average increase of 5.3%.
MONTH-OVER-MONTH (June 2022 vs May 2022)
All items (index 2002=100)
Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 0.5%. This was slower than the national average increase of 0.7%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 0.6%.
Excluding food and energy (index 2002=100)
Nova Scotia consumer prices increased 0.6%. This iwas higher than the national average increase of 0.4%.
