EU AND EURO AREA RETAIL TRADE, JUNE 2022

 

Month-over-month (June 2022 vs May 2022,seasonally adjusted turnover value)

In the European Union, retail sales were unchanged. In the Euro Area, retail sales were unchanged.

 

Year-to-date (Jan-Jun-2022 vs Jan-Jun-2021,seasonally adjusted turnover value)

In the European Union, retail sales were up 10.8%. In the Euro Area, retail sales were up 9.4%. Where data is available, the strongest growth in year-to-date retail sales occurred in Slovenia (42.1%) and Lithuania (25.5%). The weakest growth was reported in Belgium (2.4%) and Denmark (3.3%).
