- Unemployment Rate increased 0.5 percentage points to 6.7%
In Canada,
- Labour force increased 110,100 (0.5%) to 20,729,600
- Employment increased 108,300 (0.6%) to 19,656,200
- Unemployment increased 1,800 (0.2%) to 1,073,400
- Unemployment Rate was unchanged at 5.2%
In Halifax, (3-month moving average)
- Labour force increased 700 (0.3%) to 264,600
- Employment decreased 600 (-0.2%) to 250,100
