Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 7.7%. The national average was 6.9%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 7.7%.
Excluding food and energy (index 2002=100)
Nova Scotia consumer prices increased 5.0%. This was lower than the national average increase of 5.3%.

Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 1.2%. This was the above the national average increase of 0.7%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 1.1%.
Excluding food and energy (index 2002=100)
Nova Scotia consumer prices increased 0.5%. This was higher than the national average increase of 0.3%.
