Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 8.6%. The national average was 6.8%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 8.2%.
Excluding food and energy (index 2002=100)
Nova Scotia consumer prices increased 5.1%. This was lower than the national average increase of 5.4%.

Consumer prices in Nova Scotia increased 0.9%. This was the above the national average increase of 0.1%. In Halifax consumer prices increased 0.6%.

Nova Scotia and national consumer prices increased 0.1%.
