May 03, 2023EU AND EURO AREA UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, MARCH 2023 
Eurostat has reported that the unemployment rate in the Euro Area decreased 0.1 percentage points to 6.5% in March 2023. For the broader 27 countries of the entire European Union, the unemployment rate has remained unchanged at 6.0% in March 2023.
Among EU member state economies, the unemployment rate was highest in Spain and Greece. Unemployment rates were lowest in Czechia, Poland, Germany, and Malta.

NOTE: With the addition of Croatia, the Euro Area increased to 20 countries
