The Euro Area's goods trade with the rest of the word recorded a surplus of €4.8 billion. Euro Area exports decreased €21.9 billion (-10.6%) to €184.3 billion. Euro Area imports decreased €6.0 billion (-3.2%) to €179.5 billion.
EUROPEAN UNION (EU27 - Aug 2021 vs Jul 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with the rest of the world recorded a deficit of €5.0 billion. European Union exports decreased €21.5 billion (-11.5%) to €164.7 billion. European Union imports decreased €0.9 billion (-0.5%) to €169.8 billion.
TRADE PARTNERS (Aug 2021 vs Jul 2021, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with:
- the United Kingdom recorded a surplus of €10.8 billion
- Canada recorded a surplus of €0.6 billion
