Eastern Shore Islands Wildlife Management Area Designation

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forests dated the 1st day of October, A.D., 1976, pursuant to Section 161 of the Lands and Forests Act, is pleased to:
(a) declare that the area described in Schedule “A” and shown outlined in red on Schedule “B”, both attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, be a Wildlife Management Area to be known as the Eastern Shore Islands Wildlife Management Area;
(b) make regulations in the form set out in Schedule “C” attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, for the control of the Wildlife Management Area and the management of the wildlife therein.
Schedule “A”: Eastern Shore Islands Wildlife Management Area
[Description]
All those islands, ledges and reefs which are enclosed within the lines connecting the points with the following Geographic coordinates.
Beginning at a point at or near Necum Teuch Bay near the Eastern Shore area of Halifax County, Nova Scotia. The latitude of said point being 44º 55' 00" N and longitude 62º 15' 00" W;
Thence from the place of beginning east to a point of latitude 44º 55' 00" N and longitude 62º 10' 00" W;
Thence North to a point of latitude 44º 55' 30" N and longitude 62º 10' 00" W;
Thence East to a point of latitude 44º 55' 30" N and longitude 62º 09' 00" W;
Thence South to a point of latitude 44º 55' 00" N and longitude 62º 09' 00" W;
Thence East to a point of latitude 44º 55' 00" N and longitude 62º 08' 00" W;
Thence South to a point of latitude 44º 54' 00" N and longitude 62º 08' 00" W;

Sections 84 and 123 to 220 of the Lands and Forests Act, R.S.N.S. 1967, c. 163, are repealed by Section 114 of the Wildlife Act, S.N.S. 1987, c. 13, and the Lands and Forests Act is repealed by the Crown Lands Act, S.N.S. 1987, c. 5. The designation and regulations are continued under Section 112 of the Wildlife Act.
