Solemnization of Marriage License Regulations made under Sections 29 and 33 of the
Solemnization of Marriage Act

1 These regulations may be cited as the Solemnization of Marriage License Regulations.
Expiration of marriage license
2 A marriage license shall expire 1 year from the date on which it is issued, unless a marriage is performed as authorized in the license.
Amendment of Form A
3 Form A in the Schedule to the Act is amended by adding the following sentence at the end of the form:
This license expires 1 year from the date entered above, unless a marriage is performed as authorized.
