A team of health and safety professionals provide consultive support in occupational health and safety to companies, government agencies, and workers.
The officers provide core services to promote safe and efficient work practices in the workplace. Core services have been defined as ensuring compliance with existing regulations, codes and standards under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
These staff provide specialist services to control hazards which employees are subjected to in the work environment, educate health professionals and the public regarding health hazards, and interpret the applicable regulations and standards.
