Funding Support for International Qualification Recognition and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The program aims to build IQR and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) capacity in NS.
The Funding Program for International Qualification Recognition – IQR -- supports organizations in Nova Scotia to allow them to develop tools, programs, and services that help skilled immigrants find work in this province in their chosen field. Funding is available to regulatory bodies, agencies that work with immigrants, multi-stakeholder groups, and other stakeholders. The goal of the program is to strengthen the ability of organizations in Nova Scotia to use IQR and to recognize prior learning.
The goal of the Recognition of Prior Learning Funding Program is to build capacity in Nova Scotia by assisting non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, immigrant serving agencies and other stakeholders to develop tools, programs and services that facilitate the assessment and recognition of what learners/workers already know and can do, to support entry and advancement in educational pursuits and/or the Nova Scotia labour force.
Request for IQR and RPL Proposals 2020-2021 is now open.
