Conciliation and Labour Tribunals Division

The Conciliation and Labour Tribunals Division provides administrative support to the Labour Board. The Labour Board is an independent quasi-judicial body that combines the functions of the former Labour Relations Board/Construction Industry Panel, the Civil Service Employee Relations Board, the Highway Workers' Employee Relations Board, the Correctional Facilities Employee Relations Board, the Labour Standards Tribunal and the Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel. It also hears complaints under the Public Interest Disclosure of Wrongdoing Act.

The Conciliation Services Section offers a variety of services and programs to encourage harmonious labour practices, including conciliation/mediation and preventative mediation. This Section also provides administrative support to the Non-Binding Arbitration Program.
