IMAGE INFORMATION

The man at left is thought to be either Joseph Howe Jeremy, or Stephen Maloney Sr. Second from left is Chief John Noel (1829-1911), his second wife Marie Antoinette Thomas Sack Noel (1822-1915), called Mary, and her daughter, Catherine Sack (b. 1849), wife of Stephen Maloney, Sr. Mrs. Maloney is pregnant. The date cannot possibly be 1861, since John Noel appears as a young man (aged 27) in an earlier photo dated 1856, and here he looks about 60. Catherine Sack would have been 12 in 1861.
