IMAGE INFORMATION

Nova Scotia Museum Curator Harry Piers and his wife were out for a drive when they stopped for a visit at the summer wigwam of Henry and Susan Sack of Shubenacadie. Susan especially dressed in her "traditional" costume for the occasion of the photograph—which was taken, says Piers, "at 4:30 PM, Friday 13 September, 1935." Harry Piers bought the woodsplint fishing creel in the foreground for the museum collection.
