IMAGE INFORMATION

This man is wearing an elaborate turkey-feather headdress, to which have been attached woolen-yarn braids. He is walking on crutches. The Nova Scotia Guides Association was formed in 1909, and held a yearly meeting and sports tournament. After 1929, this was held at Lake Williams. The tournament was expanded to one week, and guides from various countries competed against one another for prizes.
