IMAGE INFORMATION

Labeled "A most faithful representation of the 'Indian Dances' at Government House, Fredericton, New Brunswick, on the lst of January 1835, at which Major W. N. Grange was present. Drawn by Captain J. Campbell, 38th Regt A.D.C. to his Father Sir Archibald Campbell, Bart. & K.C.B. and now Brigadier Gen'l in Turkey." It is obvious that this caption, with its date, was added later and not by the artist; hence it may be incorrect. A variant of this work in the Royal Ontario museum has a date of 1832.
