A photograph by Joseph S. Rogers (working 1863-1874). Possibly of Mary Christianne Paul Morris (1814-1884) of Chocolate Lake, Halifax. Note the woodsplint basket, two quilled boxes and a rectangular object which may be a birchbark card-case ornamented with moosehair embroidery, in this carefully posed studio photograph.
