IMAGE INFORMATION

"Old-fashioned whaleboats are very much in evidence. As they approach the strip of wharf to which they are subsequently moored, one is filled with amazement at their capacity, as out of each emerge several families of five and six members, together with their dogs, cats, and feathered fowl. There are, besides the coverings and poles for their wigwams, cooking utensils and some few personal belongings...." [Wilson, 1895:755.]
