IMAGE INFORMATION

This appears to be a photo taken on St. Anne's Day, 26 July, even though the year is uncertain. Father Pacifique began his Mi'kmaq mission in 1894; he is seated, centre. Chief John Noel, back row, third from left, died in May of 1911. Thus the picture dates between 1894 and 1910. Maximius Simon Basque, Max Basque's father, is at the far right, back row. He was married to Bridget Anne Sack, daughter of John Noel's adopted son, Isaac.
