The Department of Natural Resources has announced plans for a new natural resources strategy that will govern future directions for Nova Scotia's forests, minerals, parks and biodiversity.
To ensure that input is impartially gathered from the greatest number of people, representing the widest number of views, the department has asked Voluntary Planning to spend a year (2008) leading public consultations. In phase two, a panel of independent experts will conduct more detailed analysis of the consultation findings. Phase three will be development of the long-term strategy itself, using the various inputs from the two first years. Want to know more about how you can be involved?
