Members of the public will have another opportunity to learn more about the new correctional facility and forensic psychiatry hospital that the province is considering relocating to the Burnside Industrial Park in Dartmouth.

An information session planned for Monday, Sept. 27, at the Burnside Hotel has been moved to the Ramada Inn, 240 Brownlow Ave., Dartmouth, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the same day. Staff will be on hand to answer individual questions and provide additional information.

Another public meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., also at the Ramada Inn in Dartmouth. The meeting will be conducted in a town hall-style format with staff providing information on the facilities and welcoming questions from the public.

Justice Minister Michael Baker and Health Minister James Muir are planning to attend the Sept. 29 meeting.
