March Break Fun at the Wildlife Park

The provincial wildlife park in Shubenacadie will be open daily during March break from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The following educational activities will be held each day from 10 a.m. to noon, rain or shine:

Monday: Carnivore, omnivore, herbivore -- Why do some animals eat grass, others eat meat and some eat both? How do they differ?

Tuesday: Why are some animals endangered? Which ones and what is being done to help them?

Wednesday: How do animals adapt to survive cold climates and find food?

Thursday: Use your senses to explore nature.

Friday: Review the previous programs.

The picnic and playground area will be open, weather permitting. Winter admission is $2 for adults, $1 for youth aged 6-17 and children under 6 are free.
