PREMIER'S OFFICE -Book of Condolence Available at Province House

A book of condolence will be made available to Nova Scotians wishing to pass along their sympathies and support to those affected by the horrific events that took place in the United States on Tuesday, Sept. 11.

The book will be available for public signing in the foyer of Province House, 1726 Hollis St., Halifax. Members of the public can sign the book between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, Sept. 14 until Sept. 21.

"Nova Scotians have always had a special relationship with our American cousins, especially in times of great heartache" said Premier Hamm. "Our thoughts and prayers are with them. They represent our extended families and we share in their grief."

Books of condolence are also available at many funeral homes throughout the province.

Once Nova Scotians have been given an opportunity to sign these books they will be delivered to the U.S. Consulate in Halifax.
