NATURAL RESOURCES--Province Extends Review of Wildlife Management Areas

The Department of Natural Resources has extended the deadline for public comment on the review of wildlife sanctuaries and wildlife management areas.

The closing date for public contributions has been extended by three months, from Feb. 28 to May 31.

"My department has received a number of requests to extend this consultation period to allow for more involvement," said Natural Resources Minister Richard Hurlburt. "I am happy to respond to this request."
